CAFOD Middlesbrough invites everyone to come along to welcome the pilgrims who will have completed the whole of the route from Osmotherley to Whitby at our final mass in the historic nave of Whitby Abbey on Saturday 2nd July at 2.30pm. Canon John Lumley will be celebrating the mass and we will also welcome one of our Rwandan colleagues Simon Nsabyezi, who works for CAFOD as a counsellor among the survivors of the Rwandan genocide.
English Heritage have very kindly agreed to admit free entry to the site for the mass, as long as people are wearing a CAFOD badge. You can get your badges by contacting us here at CAFOD Middlesbrough to let us know you are coming. Why not bring along a picnic and make a day of it? Hope to see you there!
