Pupils from St Benedict’s Primary School, Ampleforth and Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Primary School and All Saints School in York joined in the procession at the Little Big Assembly at Our Lady’s, York when the MyMission team began a week long tour of the diocese.

During the week many took part in CAFOD’s Pass it On activity, being filmed and adding a peace message for all those who don’t have peace in their lives, as part of the preparations for the Olympics. Traditionally, 100 days of peace have been observed around the games.

Young Theo simply, but very piognantly said, “I just wish there weren’t any wars!”

You can join in – just film yourself moving from left to right on  your mobile phone and upload it onto our website and leave a message of peace for all whose lives are blighted by war. Just go to: www.cafod.org.uk/passiton
