Bishop Terence Patrick Drainey showed his support for the IF Campaign and signed CAFOD’s Hungry for Change campaign card at the CSAN Roadshow, held recently in York’s All Saints School.
Bishop Terry added that he had already signed the online action and was happy to pose for a photograph with CAFOD Middlesbrough volunteer, Mrs Eileen Walker. Among the distinguished participants was the Right Honourable John Battle, former MP and tireless activist and York Central MP Hugh Bailey who happily posed for a photograph with Carol Cross, CAFOD Middlesbrough’s Diocesan Officer.
Hunger is the greatest scandal and the greatest challenge facing our generation with 1 in 8 people going to bed hungry every day. That’s why over 200 leading charities, including CAFOD, want to make 2013 the beginning of the end of the global hunger crisis.
