Join us on our Holy Island pilgrimage

CAFOD supporters and volunteers are invited to join together for the annual Holy Island pilgrimage on Saturday July 1.

The pilgrimage is set to start at 1pm and for anyone not walking across the causeway, there will be a liturgy at St Aidan’s RC Church at 1.30pm.

A Mass of Thanksgiving will be held at 4pm in the Priory Church, celebrated by Father Chris Hughes

Legacy of Romero CAFOD Pilgrimage to Holy Island 5 July 2014

If you haven’t booked your place on  our coach for our Legacy of Romero Pilgrimage then you’re now too late. Our coach is full!

Don’t despair, you can still join us by travelling by public transport or in your car. Safe crossing times for the causeway on Saturday 5 July are between 11.05am and 7.30pm.

Holy Island, a very spiritual place

Our annual CAFOD Pilgrimage to Holy Island will take place on Saturday 15 June and will focus on CAFOD’s Hungry for Change campaign. We will also be praying that the G8 leaders, who will be meeting in Ireland, will act to end world hunger.

The walk across the causeway begins at 12 noon on the mainland side.
For those not walking there is a liturgy at St Aidan’s Catholic Church at 12.30pm.
Fr Jim O’Keefe will celebrate Mass with us at 2.30pm near the Statue of St Aidan.

Safe crossing times for the causeway for 15 June are from 10.20am to 6.25pm.
